The assault resulted in the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people sustained injuries by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in Lambeth on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

These detentions come after a probe into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of several people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
